- Technicians recommend the best tire(s) based on application, tread pattern, and load ratings.
- Receive a transparent, itemized quote covering tire cost, mounting, balancing, and applicable taxes.
Installation or Repair
- In-Shop: Drop off your truck; technicians remove old tires, mount new ones, balance assemblies, and inspect valve stems.
- Mobile Service: Our mobile unit arrives, removes the flat or worn tire, installs a replacement from inventory, and balances the assembly before you resume driving.
Final Inspection & Road Test
- Inspect bead seal, valve alignment, and torque lug nuts to proper spec (e.g., 450–500 ft-lbs).
- For multi-axle trucks, check dual spacing clearance and draft alignment.
- Recommend next rotation interval and show “tread life expectancy” based on current load, alignment, and driving conditions.

Can you repair sidewall damage?
Sidewall punctures or cuts are not repairable per DOT regulations. We recommend replacing any tire with sidewall damage.
Do you offer same‐day tire replacement for long‐haul trucks?
Yes. If we have your size in stock, most in-shop replacements are completed within 45–60 minutes. Mobile replacements typically take 60–75 minutes, depending on travel.
What tread depth is considered unsafe?
Federal regulations require at least 4/32″ on steer tires and 2/32″ on drive/trailer tires. Monson technicians measure tread life and advise on replacement when approaching these limits.
Should I use nitrogen or compressed air in my tires?
