Monson Truck & Trailer Repair is a family‐owned, full‐service heavy‐duty repair center serving Northeast Iowa, Northwest Illinois, and Southern Wisconsin. Since our founding in 1995 by Buck Monson, we’ve built our reputation on honesty, craftsmanship, and a genuine passion for keeping America’s trucks rolling—whether that’s a lone owner‐operator, a regional fleet, or a farm grain hauler.
From Humble Beginnings
In 1995, Buck Monson turned his lifelong love of trucks into a business with one simple principle: You can’t be in the business of truck repair a “little bit.” With a single 2-bay garage in East Moline, IL, Buck set out to deliver honest, no-nonsense repairs—everything from tires to transmissions, and roadside rescues to full‐chassis overhauls.
2002
We added our first heavy‐duty wrecker, launching 24/7 roadside service across a 75-mile radius.
2006
Expanded our shop footprint to 8 bays and built out a dedicated chassis alignment area.
2012
Opened a second satellite shop in Davenport, IA to better serve farmers, gravel haulers, and regional carriers.
2018
Became a certified Carbon B-Gone provider and added advanced DPF cleaning and tuners to our service lineup.
2025
